Columbia University athletics has been and is instrumental to the success of the LTF program. Columbia provides us access to their world class facilities, as well as their sporting equipment that is necessary for every clinic. Their coaches and athletes volunteer their free time to work with and educate our participants. Together, they serve as our students' mentors, leaders and role models.
Our participants are enrolled at The Washington Heights Expeditionary Learning School ("WHEELS"). WHEELS allows us to work with their students and their community. The dedicated and committed teachers at WHEELS open their classrooms to LTF and ensure our students make it to our programs. Their support has been critical to our mission.
The Department of Youth and Community Development ("DYCD") -- Provides free public transportation to our LTF volunteers and our participants on weekends and weeknights. DYCD was created in 1996 to provide the City of New York with high-quality youth and family programming.
SoNu Water-a USDA certified organic flavored beverage enhanced with vitamins, electrolytes and antioxidants-provides water for our clinics and keeps our participants hydrated.
Young Reinsurance & Insurance Professionals is a dedicated insurance professional's organization in New York City that hosts semi-annual fundraisers on behalf of LTF and whose members volunteer their time in support of our program.
